I can't........

Words. We use them all the time, our internal dialog (most important conversations you probably don't hear), external dialog at work, with friends and family.

Have you noticed that you will chose different words in different situations, whether consciously or subconsciously?

I can't is not a phrase "successful" people say out loud at work but is it something people often feel?

Maybe it is something said in personal situations, in conversations with friends or family members?

Whether I can't is something you feel or say out loud it is rarely accurate wording. There are of course times it is accurate but it is rare. So what do you actually mean when you say or feel I can't?

  1. I don't know how...?

  2. I don't want to...

  3. I am not willing to try...

  4. I don't feel confident enough...

  5. Financially I am not sure I can afford...

Accurate wording can add to your life because you start to get a better understanding of how you're thinking and feeling. Generalizations of course are relevant in some situations and be honest with yourself. Know how you feel, what you would like and what is important to you.

So much of what we do, say and have in our lives is learned behavior and, unless you're self aware and present, is not conscious choice.

I invite you to stop staying I can't internally today and find out what it actual is.
